1. What we have is not a perfect love story. Temptations are lurking around us all the time. But let me tell you this: I love you. I love you enough to say “YES” to your proposal, enough to fight for you, enough to give up and let go of the “spoiled brat” in me once we get married, and enough to turn myself into a one-man-woman :) I was a player, you know :)

2. I can never thank you enough for loving me unconditionally. For giving me the best of everything, and for sacrificing your own happiness just to give me the perfect future you had in mind for me. You are the strongest woman in the world. And I’m glad that God put me inside your tummy, and let me grow there and later on, grow inside your heart. You are incomparable. I love you.

3. You have no balls. You are the reason why I used to say that I’ll never get married.You have no guts. You are the most irresponsible man in the world. But guess what. I can not afford to hate you forever. Yes, I used to loathe you. But hell, I love you.Doesn’t it cross your mind? When you lay in your bed at night? What if you fight for us? Or for God’s sake , what if you fight for me?

4. Six years. It’s been six hella years. Full of tears and joy. We’ve been through heartbreaks and 5’s, through buckets of beer and packs of cigars. Thank you for being the best friend one could ever have. I have lots of friends on the side, but you stand out. You never left me, you always stand up for me, and you know when to tap my back and say, “hey, that’s enough. let’s go now.” Thank you, and I love you :) Six decades from now, I know, we’ll still be friends :) and you’ll still be the best among the rest :)

There’s nothing “unlikable” about you :) Honestly, if you came into my life earlier, should I say 5 years ago, we could be together now. Like the man that I’ll marry four months from now, you are a breath of fresh air. I love the way you look at me :) You are a spitting image of the perfect guy I had in mind. Unfortunately,you are not my Jay-R :) There’s huge difference between infatuation and true love :) but hey! no regrets :)
